Kittery Fire Association Annual 5K Run and Walk
We would like to announce the 2008 date for the Kittery Fire Association Annual 5K Run and Walk: Sunday, 18 May 2008 at 9am in Kittery, Maine.
We will be running and walking along the waterfront again in beautiful Coastal Kittery. The 2007 May event was an overwhelming success with 145 registered walkers and runners and over 50 spectators. There were walkers and runners from Maine, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Maryland, and Illinois. Over 30 local businesses and organizations sponsored the event.
The Kittery Fire Association is a volunteer organization of firefighters that supports the Fire Department. We also support community activities such as fund raisers, parades, education, and local scholarships.

Online registration opens 01 January 2008 at kittery5k.spaces.live.com. Contact us by email if you would like a paper registration form mailed to you.
Children under 12 years may walk free of charge.
Pets and strollers are welcome.
New award category this year - Fastest Firefighter!
New kid's run in 2008! There is no need for children to sign up in advance more details will be posted as the date approaches.
