KITTERY, ME – The first mooring renewal date has come and gone. All moorings renewed from this date forward will be assessed a late fee. The late fee goes up to $50.00 after April 14th so renew now. All mooring holders must contact the Harbormaster in person or by phone to renew. Only the person assigned to a mooring may renew the mooring. Office hours are Tuesday 8AM-6PM. Renewals may also be done by phone, please call 207-451-0829 between 9AM-4PM except Tuesday.
The harbormaster is available at Town Hall on Tuesday from 8:00am-6:00pm. You may contact the harbormaster at any time regarding 2010 mooring and waitlist renewal.
April 17th is lobster trap clean-up day in Kittery. This annual event contributes to a clean, alive and accessible Kittery waterfront. Anyone wishing to volunteer may contact the Harbormaster.
Mandatory State of Maine Harbormaster training was held at Maine Maritime Academy in Castine last month. The Harbormaster and all the volunteer assistant Harbormasters successfully completed the course work and are certified to serve for the 2010-2011 season.
