The Waterline
KITTERY, ME – The time has come to put away your shovels and sap buckets and take off those boat covers. Find a home for your trailers and boat stands and get ready for another season on the water.
Temporary mooring assignments have not been designated. A number of moorings have yet to be renewed and will in all likely hood be reassigned to boaters on the waitlist. As of March 31st there are 42 moorings in the temporary program waiting to be assigned and another 52 that may be come available for permanent assignment.
Time is running out to renew your mooring! Failure to re-new by May 16th will result in the revocation of your mooring rights. Please contact the Harbormasters office no later than May 15th. Don’t forget to put your mooring number on your mooring ball this spring. Renewal for the mooring waitlist is underway also. Don’t lose your spot!
The main float will be back in place by the middle of April. All boaters who keep a dinghy at Pepperell Cove must pay the fifteen dollar fee in order to use the dinghy dock this year. Remember that a 10’ painter is required for your dinghy. Non-compliance may mean the removal and storage of your dinghy with related storage fees.
